- I too extend my birthday greetings to him and wish him many more years. My dad passed away on New Year Day 1994 from ALS after about a (6) year struggle. It went full term until he suffocated. Cruel disease. I truly believe stem cell research might provide some real and solid answers. Cure? Maybe.
